Uxbridge Travel Soccer Club

The Uxbridge Travel Soccer Club provides residents of Uxbridge and students of Uxbridge Public Schools with two seasons of soccer each year. The teams of the Travel Club play other travel teams from towns in the surrounding area. This includes towns as close as Douglas to as far away as East Brookfield (about an hour). Most games are within about a 30 minute drive and usually take place on Saturdays. If you'd rather avoid the driving, check out the Uxbridge Youth Soccer League. The Travel Club supports age groups from U10 to U14. To play, you must read and agree to the UYSL Code of Conduct

Rain Policy

Given the difficulty of rescheduling games, we try to play even when the weather is marginal. Since the weather can change quickly and many coaches work in other towns and areas and might not be seeing the same weather that you are seeing, the general policy is to assume that all games and practices are "on" unless you are notified otherwise.

Here is the procedure that coaches should follow regarding cancelation/postponement

The decision to play or not will usually be made at the field where it is the coaches' and referee's discretion as to the safety and condition of the field. Of course, the parent or guardian always has final say on whether their child should play on any given day.

Associations

Membership in these organizations, which belong to MYSA, is included in the registration fee. MYSA provides insurance coverage for all practices, games, and transportation involving the travel league in which they play.
